Byron House School, North Road, Highate was also attended by the young Elizabeth Taylor.  Betjeman gradtuated to the larger Highagte School across the road where he was taught by T.S. Elliot.

Celebrate the Highgate Society's 50th anniversary with the Dickens of a literary walk, led by Ruth Hazeldine and Zeb Soanes.

A walking tour of places associated with famous literary figures in Highgate, including T.S. Eliot, Charles Dickens, and Highgate’s own John Betjeman.

The walk will take about 45 minutes and is downhill.
