A meditative first part is of Mediaeval Carols and a narration from the middle ages. The wine and mince pie interval is followed in the Church Hall by a Christmas entertainment, with songs and readings for everyone: traditional carols, folk carols, Music Hall and Victorian parlour song, with contemporary favourites from composers Judith Bingham and Sally Beamish, all set in a warm and humorous context.
